Rare Limited Edition Vintage Lundby Display Cabinet – No. 221/500 KM034

A particularly special and highly collectible vintage Lundby dolls house display cabinet, produced as part of a strictly limited edition of just 500 pieces.

This beautifully detailed dark wood cabinet was part of an exclusive three-piece Lundby furniture group made in a traditional English style. Contemporary Lundby advertising confirms that only 500 numbered examples of the range were produced and that the pieces were sold directly through Lundby rather than through the usual shops and department stores.

This example is individually numbered 221/500, with the number marked to the underside.

The cabinet features an elegant shaped top, glazed-effect double doors with fine astragal detailing, glazed-effect side panels, internal shelving and two lower drawers. The rich dark wood finish and unusually elaborate construction make this a striking piece, quite different from Lundby's standard production furniture.

Measurements: approximately 11.5cm high x 11cm wide x 2.3cm deep.

A wonderful opportunity for the serious Lundby collector, particularly with the original period advertising providing provenance for the limited production run.
