Vintage 1930s Taylor and Barrett Dolls House Metal Table KM360

A lovely pre-war Taylor & Barrett dolls’ house table, made in England and clearly stamped to the underside “T & B Made in England Copyright.”

This substantial little table is made from heavy cast metal, likely lead alloy, with a rectangular black painted top, slender legs and attractive gilt corner detailing. Despite its simple form, the contrasting black and gold finish gives it a rather smart period appearance.

Dating from the Taylor & Barrett era of the 1920s–1930s, it is an original British dolls’ house furnishing rather than a modern reproduction. The maker's stamp is particularly useful in identifying the piece.

It remains in good vintage condition, retaining its black and gilt finish with only light signs of age and previous use. Please study the photographs carefully as they form an important part of the condition description.
