A fabulous vintage Barton dolls house dining set, comprising a round pedestal table and two matching swivel chairs, with a wonderfully distinctive 1960s/70s appearance.
The round table has a cream paper-covered top decorated with an orange and brown floral design and stands on a metal pedestal with a four-point base. The two cream moulded chairs have brown textured seat pads and metal pedestal bases, and the chairs swivel.
The paper covering to the tabletop has some age-related grubbiness and marking. The metal table base has a rough, uneven surface finish with some oxidation/pitting, consistent with age. One chair has a small nick to the front edge of the moulding; this appears to be a manufacturing imperfection rather than later damage, and similar irregularities are often found on these moulded Barton pieces.
Table measurements: approximately 4.5cm high x 7cm diameter.
A wonderfully period Barton set with plenty of character, ideal for a 1960s or 1970s dolls’ house interior.
