A charming vintage Gerlach No. 2197 dolls' house grandfather clock, a beautifully detailed soft metal miniature dating from the 1920s and illustrated in the Gerlach catalogue of the 1930s.

Standing 11.8cm high and measuring approximately 3cm wide x 1.5cm deep, this elegant longcase clock features a detailed printed clock face, decorative moulded case and visible pendulum faithfully reproducing the style of traditional grandfather clocks found in period homes.

Manufactured by the renowned German company Gerlach, this clock is an excellent example of the finely detailed soft metal miniatures that made the firm's dolls' house accessories so highly regarded by collectors. It is perfectly suited to a dolls' house hallway, drawing room or dining room and makes an impressive focal point in any period interior.
