A lovely vintage German dolls’ house ceiling light, believed to be by Gerlach, with a wonderfully bright yellow glass globe.
The light features an original glass globe shade mounted in a metal fitting with a circular ceiling plate. The back of the plate is stamped Germany and the style and construction are consistent with German dolls’ house lighting of the period.
The original wiring is still present, adding to the authenticity of this charming miniature fitting. However, due to its age, the light is being sold as inoperable and for decorative/collectors’ use only.
A particularly attractive original accessory for a vintage German dolls’ house and a lovely piece for collectors of early miniature lighting.
